Privacy Policy
What information this site collects, why it collects it, and what happens to it. Short version: contact form details so I can reply to you, and anonymous analytics. Nothing is sold.
Last updated: 2026. North Jersey Web Designs is a sole proprietorship operating in Passaic County, New Jersey.
Information you give me
When you submit the contact form, you provide your name, email address, phone number, how you found the site, and your message. This is submitted through Netlify Forms and stored in the Netlify dashboard for this site. I use it to respond to your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to administer that work.
I do not sell this information, rent it, or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Information collected automatically
This site uses Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag, which set cookies and collect standard technical information: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, and how you arrived at the site. This is used to understand which pages are useful and whether advertising is working.
Netlify, which hosts the site, keeps server access logs including IP addresses as a normal part of operating the service.
Cookies
Two kinds of cookie are set. Google's analytics and advertising cookies, described above. And a browser storage entry recording whether you chose dark mode, which stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site works normally without them, apart from forgetting your dark mode preference.
How long information is kept
Contact form submissions are kept as long as they are useful for correspondence and business records. Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted periodically. Client records are kept for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Google Analytics data is retained according to Google's own retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email dbolanos@northjerseywebdesigns.com and I will action it. There is no charge and no form to fill in.
You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's browser add-on.
Third parties
This site depends on a small number of services, each with its own privacy policy: Netlify for hosting and form handling, Google for analytics and advertising, and Calendly if you book a meeting through the link in the navigation. Fonts are served from this site rather than from Google Fonts, so no request is made to Google when a page loads its typography. Client projects may additionally involve Shopify where an online store is being built.
Children
This site is aimed at business owners and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
