Four services, and they are meant to be bought together or separately. Below is what each one covers, what it costs, and when you do not need it.
The four services
Custom web design
Hand-coded sites in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. No page builders and no bought themes. From $2,500 one-time, or included in the managed plan.
Ecommerce
Custom Shopify storefronts with the cart, checkout, shipping and inventory actually configured, plus a walkthrough. From $4,500.
Local SEO setup
Google Business Profile, on-page structure, schema and local landing pages. Included in the managed plan.
Hosting
Global CDN, free SSL, automatic deploys and rollbacks. $150/yr with a build, free on the managed plan.
Which one do you need
Most small businesses need the first one and the third one. If you sell services rather than products, you do not need ecommerce, and I would rather tell you that now than sell you a store you will not use.
If you already have a site you are happy with, the highest-value thing I can do for you is usually the Google Business Profile work, not a rebuild.
How it fits together
One-time build
$2,500, 50% deposit. You get the site and hosting is $150/yr. Edits after launch are a $50/mo add-on. Good if you want to pay once and mostly leave it alone.
Managed plan
$500/mo, $0 down, six-month minimum then month to month. Site, hosting, unlimited edits, updates and your Google Business Profile all handled.
Ecommerce
$4,500 starting, 50% deposit. Shopify hosts the store on their own subscription. Four to six weeks depending on the catalogue.
Built for your trade
The same services, aimed at the specific problem each trade has: remodeling contractors, roofers, landscapers and painters.
Where I work
Passaic County and across North Jersey, with local pages for Clifton, Paterson, Wayne and Montclair.
