Ivan Dana has been doing residential electrical work out of Livingston since 2006. He does not need a website that explains what an electrician does. He needs one that takes a homeowner from a search result to his phone number without making them stop and think.

Three services, in the order people search for them
A homeowner calls an electrician for roughly three reasons. Something stopped working. They are adding a thing the house was never wired for, like a range, a hot tub or a car charger. Or a contractor is mid-kitchen and the electrical has to be done properly and signed off.
So the services section is three cards: new installations, wiring and circuit upgrades, troubleshooting and repairs. Not eleven. If somebody is standing in a dark kitchen at eight at night, a longer list is a worse list.

The reviews are long on purpose
Most sites cut customer reviews down to one tidy line. His run three and four hundred words, because that is how his customers wrote them.
In one of them the homeowner mentions that when the township inspector came out, he told them Ivan's work was impeccable. Another walks through eight years of jobs in the same house: the panel in 2018, high hats in the basement, a doorbell, a Ring camera, sconces, an attic fan. It ends by pointing out that every quote matched every invoice. Nobody writes that about an electrician they are lukewarm about, and trimming it for neatness would have thrown away the most persuasive thing on the site.

Address and phone number on every page
Somebody comparing three electricians is mostly checking whether you are a real business with something to lose. The footer carries the Livingston street address, the phone number and a direct email address on every single page. Nothing is locked behind a form, and there is no chat window pretending to be a person.

Nothing on the server that can break
The site is static HTML. There is no database, no plugin directory, and no WordPress install waiting on a security patch. The pages he wants to change sit behind a login, so he can edit the words himself without touching code.
For a one-man electrical company that matters more than it sounds. A site that cannot go down is a site you never have to think about.
